Applications invited for diploma course

Two-day music festival from today

The Academy of Music is conducting the International Festival of Indian Classical Music at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on September 9 and 10. Around 15 artistes are scheduled to participate in the event.

Training programme

The Multi-disciplinary Training centre will hold a training programme in making of leather footwear and leather goods for educated unemployed youth from September 15 to March 14.

A stipend of Rs. 700 and hostel facilities will be provided to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and candidates below poverty line. The training centre will also guide trainees in obtaining financial assistance under REGP scheme of Khadi and Village Industries Commission.
