Workshop held for SSIs

HYDERABAD: With an objective to bring the small and medium enterprises on a single platform and make them learn the importance of supply-chain management, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing , Hyderabad in collaboration with Department of Information Technology organised a national workshop on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of Industries Sutirtha Bhattacharya emphasised the need for more technology-oriented research programmes that aid in the better performance of these enterprises.

As part of the workshop, technical sessions by experts on supply-chain management solutions that include inventory management system, procurement and workflow management system were also organised, said a release.
