MUMBAI: Aditya Mehta, national junior snooker champion, moved within sight of a place among Indian senior cueists for the Doha Asian Games snooker competition. Carrying 21 points coming into the fourth trials and placed at the bottom among six contenders, the Chembur Gymkhana youngster rattled up a 4-0 verdict over Rafat Habib at the Goregaon Sports Club on Sunday, the second day of the trials. Pankaj Advani remains the only unbeaten player after the second day, beating Manan Chandra 4-1.
