BANGALORE: A moneylender was stabbed to death in Madiwala Police Station limits in the early hours of Sunday. The police gave the name of the dead as Sidde Gowda (47), resident of Chennakeshava Nagar. According to the police, the incident occurred when Sidde Gowda was on his morning stroll near MICO Factory around 6 a.m. According to the police, Sidde Gowda's family could not name a suspect. Sidde Gowda was into finance business after the factory in which he was working closed down.
Murdered
A man was allegedly murdered in Hanumanthnagar police limits on Sunday. The police, who gave the name of the dead as Umesh (35), said he was murdered at the junction of Ramanjaneya Cross and Hanumanthnagar 10th Main. The police said there were three persons. They came in an autorickshaw, they said. Umesh was with his friend when the incident occurred, they added.
