Shepherd found hanging

Boy was beaten up by some villagers the previous day

ANANTAPUR: A 15-year-old shepherd allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in house at Kattakindapalli of Pamidi mandal here on Tuesday. On Monday, three persons had allegedly beaten him up. According to the police, Peddi Reddy took sheep for grazing on Monday and some of them entered the fields of Sunki Reddy.

The boy was allegedly beaten up by Sunki Reddy, Rajappa and Pullamma in front of other villagers. The next day, he was found hanging. His parents, Pullaiah and Salamma, alleged that their son died of internal injuries caused by the beating.
