City takes lead

Chennai: City grabbed a 119-run lead over Combined Districts on the second day of the N.R. Samiappa Mudaliar under-17 match at the SPIC-YMCA here on Wednesday. For Districts, off-spinner V. Naresh Babu claimed five for 74 in 41 overs.

The scores: Combined Districts 98 & 60 for two in 30 overs vs City 217 in 102.2 overs (N. Suraj 46, Shravan Krishnan 35, K.M. Dheeraj 28, V. Naresh Babu five for 74, S. Vivek Adhiraj three for 30).
