THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan has said that the State Government would ensure adequate provision of funds for the arrangements various departments would have to make for the convenience of the pilgrims visiting Sabarimala in the upcoming pilgrimage season. He stated this while inaugurating a meeting of people's representatives and heads of various Government departments held at the Secretariat Durbar Hall to discuss the preparations for the pilgrim season. Minister for Devaswom G. Sudhakaran, who presided over the meeting, said the Government agencies were confident of completing the preparations well before the start of the pilgrim season. Transport Minister Mathew T. Thomas, Water Resources Minister N. K. Premachandran and Devaswom Board President Raman Nair were among those who attended the meeting.
