Accreditation panel visits college

CHENNAI : A peer team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited A.M. Jain College from Monday to Wednesday to assess and accredit the institution.

The team comprised chairperson, Kamal Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and members D. Shrijay Devaraj Urs, Director, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board, University of Mysore, and M.V. Bharatha Lakshmi, Principal (Retd.), P.R. Government College, Kakinada. Dr. Latha Pillai, Adviser, NAAC, was the Coordinator of the peer team. They met the management, principal, the faculties of different departments, office staff, alumni, parents and students, inspected the infrastructure in the college. The panel's report was submitted to Dr. R. Vaithianathan, Principal.
