Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in parts of R.K. Nagar and Saidapet East area between 9 a.m and 5 p.m on Friday for maintenance work.

World Heart Day

Stenographers' guild chief to visit Turkey

S. V. Ramaswamy, president of the Stenographers' Guild will participate in an international conference of Secretaries and Stenographers to be held in Antalya in Turkey during the fourth week of September. Mr. Ramaswamy, the only representative from India, will present papers on the Newrite Shorthand System.

Training on preparation of spicy products

Protest meeting

Southern Railway Mazdoor Union Loco Running Staff held a protest meeting at Chief Crew Controller office, Thiruvotiyur, on September 15 demanding specific work pattern for goods train drivers to enable them to return to the headquarters within 24 hours.
