Now Delhiites can air their views

This is really for those who have the Munnabhai hangover.

There might not be any "Gandhigiri" or even the bright smile of Vidya Balan, but Delhiites are getting a chance to use the radio to air their views about the ongoing sealing drive.

"Baat Karo Yaar"

Giving shopkeepers and authorities space to voice their opinion on an issue that is affecting many Delhiites, Radio Mirchi has introduced a new segment, "Baat Karo Yaar'', which can be tuned into from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

"Keeping up its tradition of leading from the front, Radio Mirchi has made an effort to provide a platform to Delhiites to voice their opinion. The sealing drive is a very sensitive matter and needs to be dealt with appropriately. We think it's our responsibility to help Delhiites in this time of crisis,'' says the station director of Radio Mirchi Delhi, Kanwarbir Singh.

Taking inspiration from the film, the radio channel hopes to get people to approach this issue non-violently.

Wide spectrum

It has invited the whole spectrum of those involved in the issue from the affected parties -- the traders and citizens -- to the men in khaki and those in Government.
