Exhibition on nanotechnology opens

Bangalore: Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM) may soon have 7,000 sq.ft. of space dedicated to nanotechnology, said I.K. Mukherjee, Director General, National Council of Science Museums.

He was speaking to presspersons at an event organised to inaugurate the nanotechnology exhibition at VITM here on Friday. The exhibition was developed at the museum over a period of four months at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh. Premier scientific institutions including Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research and Indian Institute of Science have assisted VITM in developing the exhibits. It will be on at VITM till November 15.
