Persephone triumphs

Pune: Persephone (T.S. Jodha up) won the Piaggio Ape' Colts' and Fillies' Trial Stakes, the feature event of the races here on Sunday (Sept. 24). The winner is owned by Mr. Janak Ram Jethmalani, Mrs. Padmini G. Jhangiani, rep. Equest (India) Pvt Ltd., and M/s. Mohit Lalvani and Aqeel Ali. Nina Lalvani trains the winner.

Jockey C. Rajendra was indisposed after the fifth race and he was replaced by the other jockeys for his further engagements.
