Central Zone in driver's seat

VIJAYAWADA: A fine 58 by Hussain helped Central Zone pile up 301 in 123.1 overs against North Zone in the ACA Ranji selection tournament being held at RDT Sports Centre at Anantapur on Sunday.

The scores: Central Zone 301 in 123.1 overs (Arjun 90, Hussain 58) vs. North Zone 137 for seven in 57 overs (Vivek Varma 41).

KDCA Secretary

Koka Ramesh of Vijayawada has been unanimously elected Secretary of Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) for a period of two years from 2006 to 2008. As per the association bylaw the Commissioner of Police will function as honorary president.
