THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: South Zone won the title in the State inter-zone under-22 cricket tournament after the last league match between South Zone and Central Zone ended in a draw at the Agriculture College grounds here on Sunday. South, which took two points for the first innings lead, finished at the top with four points. Rain brought a pre-mature end to the match when Central, chasing 365 to win in 35 overs, was 64 for three in 10.1 overs. The scores: South 295 & 238 in 70.1 overs (Madan Mohan 50, Raiphy Vincent Gomez 41, S. Anish 40) drew with North Zone 169 & 64 for three in 10.1 overs.
