Neha enters final

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Neha S. Nair will meet Minu R. Raju in the women's singles final of the 63rd Trivandrum Open tennis tournament. In the semifinals at the TTC courts, Neha withstood a spirited challenge from Parvathy Vijayan before winning 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 while Minu crushed Anu Leela Sumanam 6-0, 6-0.

In men's singles, Binu Mani, Ray Karan Jesudas and M. Binoj Mani entered the semifinals after wining their quarterfinal matches rather easily.

The results: Men: Singles (quarterfinals): Binu Mani bt M.S. Sarath Lal 6-3, 6-0; Ray Karan Jesudas bt G. Chandu 6-1, 6-4; M. Binoj Mani bt Sekhar Satish 6-0, 6-3.
