BANGALORE: To promote greater use of technology in the fields of security, safety and fire protection, the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in collaboration with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has organised the 11th International Security, Safety and Fire exhibition in Bangalore. The three-day exhibition, which is starting from September 28, is aimed at creating awareness about the need and importance of security at institutional as well as household level. The exposition being held for the first time in Bangalore has been organised at the Trade Centre in Whitefield. CISF Director-General S.I.S. Ahmed told presspersons here on Wednesday that around 50 leading organisations from throughout India, Japan and Gulf countries are participating. The exhibition, with the theme "Security for technology industries", will feature a variety of safety and security products and systems. These include access control systems, perimeter protection devices, surveillance devices, explosive detection and disposal, burglar alarm system, disaster management and NBC equipment, gadgets for bank and hospital security, information security devices, audio/video surveillance and de-bugging devices, he said.
