Easy for Mysore varsity

HUBLI: Mysore University registered an easy 80-30 win over Kakatiyar University of Warangal on the second day of the South Zone inter-university Kabaddi (men) tournament organised by the Karnatak University here on Thursday.

In a keenly contested match, Kerala University (Thiruvananthapuram) won against Bharatiar University (Coimbatore) 20-18.

In other matches, Bharatidasan University, Thiruchinapalli, won against Kannur University, Kannur, 51- 25 and Acharya Nagarjun University defeated Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, 55-31. On the inaugural day of the tournament on Wednesday, Bangalore University won against Kamaraj University, Madurai, 31-10 while Kuvempu University, Shimoga, beat Dravidian University, Kuppam, 82-19. — Staff Correspondent
