Trends in software testing explained


The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Engineering College organised a two-day workshop on `software testing' on its premises at Kovilpatti recently.

The programme was conducted with an aim to teach students the most recent innovations, trends and concerns in the field of software testing.

Inaugurating the programme, T.V. Balaji, senior associate, Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai, said software was gaining greater significance in the modern world since it was pervading into every walk of life.

"Fast developments in software industry pose technical challenges for the teams involved in software engineering fields," he said.

The essence of all religions is the value system devised from logic and human co-existence. This was highlighted at a seminar on religious pluralism and peace culture organised by Gandhigram Rural University at Gandhigram on Wednesday.

In his special address, Vice-Chancellor T. Karunakaran exhorted students and research scholars to take projects rejuvenating human minds and satisfying universal justice.
