The students of pre-primary and lower primary at the Junior Sport Day of Prasiddhi School, Vasanthnagar.
BANGALORE: India International School appointed some students as "eco warriors" to take care of the environment in the school, at an investiture ceremony held recently. L. Srinivas Reddy, former judge of Karnataka High Court, presided over the ceremony and handed over badges to the students. Trustee and chief executive officer of the institution Nandakumar administered the oath of allegiance. Mr. Reddy said the first step towards moulding their character, behaviour and attitude towards life started at school. Principal Wg.Cdr. Ranjit Kumar Mandal (Retd.) said that the school aimed at overall development of children. He announced the introduction of International Baccalaureate programme from the current year.
