Gokul, Sarvajith bowl well

HYDERABAD: Match-winning spells by Gokul Singh (six for 13) for Secunderabad PS and Sarvajith (seven for 15) for Gowtham MS were the highlights of the Parle Cup inter-schools and colleges (under-17) cricket tournament here on Saturday.

The scores: Parle Cup (under-17): St. Joseph's PS 172 (Suraj 30, Sagar Kashyap three for 25, Vishal Reddy three for 15, A.N. Tejasvi three for 20) lost to Guntur Vikas Junior College, Narayanguda 173 for eight (A.N. Tejasvi 51 not out, Sagar Kashyap 46, G. Arun Kumar 31, Basarath three for 30, Mujtaba three for 30).

Silver Jubilee Jr College 54 (Kaleem four for 19, Akshay three for 18) lost to HPS Begumpet 55 for two.

Sultan-ul-Uloom Jr college 76 (Gokul Singh six for 13, Syed Ali three for 18) lost to Sec'bad PS 77 for five (B. Sai Phanindra 31 not out, Mouzam three for 31).
