Chief Minister to stay at village in Bagalkot

BIJAPUR: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is scheduled to arrive in Bagalkot at 6 p.m. on Sunday on a three-day visit to the district.

After meeting public there, he will drive to nearby Hiremyageri village for overnight stay. The administration has been making necessary arrangements in the village school building.

Review of works

On Monday morning, after hearing the grievances of villagers, the Chief Minister would return to Bagalkot to review the development activities with the officials and public representatives. He will also address a party workers' meeting.

Later in the evening, he will reach Murol village in Hungund taluk for overnight stay again in a school building. On Tuesday morning, he will lay foundation stone for Murol Lift Irrigation Scheme. Before leaving for Dharwad district, he will participate in official programmes in Ilkal and Badami towns, according to a release.
