Two die in accident on Bangalore-Mysore highway

MYSORE: Two persons were killed when they were run over by a bus on the Bangalore-Mysore highway in the early hours of Sunday. The victims were identified as Suresh (27), a resident of Palahalli in Srirangapatana, and Ramesh (25) of Sindhuvalli. The accident took place near the outer ring road when a bus going towards Bangalore hit the two-wheeler on which they were travelling.

The two were shifted to K.R. Hospital but died in the early hours owing to head injuries.

The N.R.Traffic police visited the spot and the bus driver Venkataramanappa was taken into custody.
