One injured in blast

Guwahati: One jawan was injured in an explosion triggered by the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) in upper Assam's Tinsukia district on Wednesday. Police said the army vehicle narrowly missed the improvised explosive device that had been placed on the road. The impact of the blast created a huge crater on the road at a village under Doomdooma police station.
