BANGALORE: A 12-day-old girl baby was found abandoned in an autorickshaw in Sanjeevini Nagar in Hebbal police station limits on Monday night. According to police, Raghunandan, an autorickshaw driver, parked his vehicle near his house and went to sleep. Around 11 p.m., some of his neighbours woke him up hearing a crying sound from the autorickshaw. He went to his vehicle to see the abandoned child. He then took the child to a private hospital before handing it to Makkala Sahayavani, the police said.
Killed
A 22-year-old tailor, who had gone to resolve dispute of his friend, was allegedly murdered in Nala Layout in Ramanagaram town on Monday night. Mujahid went with his friend Sajid to resolve dispute of the latter with Afsal Pasha and Wasim Pasha. There were heated discussions between Afsal Pasha and Sajid. When Mujahid intervened Afsal and Wasim stabbed him. Mujahid died on the way to hospital.
Accidents
Two persons were killed in different accidents reported in the city on Monday. Sheikh Ahmed (43), a labourer, was killed when he was knocked down by a lorry near BPL Godown in Arakere. Anand Kumar, 22, a motorcyclist, was killed when he was hit by a lorry on 20th Main Road in BTM Layout. Kumar died on the way to hospital, police said.
