Three killed in road accident

They were going to get the body of their son who had also died in an accident

ANANTAPUR: Three persons of a family were killed and 11 others seriously injured when a mini-lorry and a Tata Sumo collided near Nallaboinapalli of Bathalapalli mandal on the Bellary-Chennai national highway on Wednesday.

According to the police the family of Thimmppa (45) and Chinnamma (38) of Kammaguttapalli in Chittoor district were on the way to Kurnool to get the body of their son who had died in a road accident there.

The Tata Sumo in which they were travelling was passing a narrow bridge when a mini lorry on collided head-on with the vehicle at high speed resulting in the death of Thimmppa, Chinnamma and Bhushappa (35).
