`Snakes on a plane' to release in theatres soon

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Actor Samuel L. Jackson is now starring in the movie `Snakes on a plane'.

Director David R. Ellis has gone on record to say that not a soul in the film was hurt during the making of the movie, and this goes for the reptiles as well. The film features nearly 300 snakes of various sizes.

Snake wranglers Jules Sylvester and Brad McDonald managed to introduce about 250 non-poisonous snakes and only few dangerous reptiles in the movie.

The story is about FBI agent Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) taking Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips), who is the only witness to a crime committed by Eddie Kim, to testify before the grand jury. Kim wants to kill the witness on the plane. How things work out forms the rest of the story.
