New MD for MPIL

KANNUR: V. P. Mohanan, veterinary surgeon in the Animal Husbandry Department here, has been appointed as the managing director of Meat Products of India Ltd. at Koothattukulam.

Mr. Mohanan was appointed as the MD on a deputation basis. He was the winner of the Karshaka Mithra Award for 2002-03. He had served as general council member of the Kerala Agricultural University.
