Bangalore: The Kumaraswamy Layout and the Chamarajpet police have arrested ten persons on the charge of planning to commit dacoity and recovered weapons from them. The Kumaraswamy Layout police inspector H.S. Ramalinge Gowda and his team, while on regular beat, noticed a group of five persons on Pipeline Road near Dayanand Sagar College on Thursday and questioned them. They found the accused in possession of swords, choppers, rope and chilly powder. The Chamarajpet inspector Vidyanand L. Tejaswi, acting on a tip-off, intercepted five persons who were moving suspiciously on Mysore Road and arrested them. The police recovered choppers and swords from the accused. The police said the accused had a criminal history.
