Man held for murder of five

JAIPUR: Five persons, including three children, belonging to two families from Uttar Pradesh, were murdered at Amer in the outskirts of the town and a close relative of a family was arrested in this connection.

The five were killed using sharp weapons late on Friday night, Additional Superintendent of Police Mahendra Choudhary said on Saturday.

The deceased were identifed as Munna Mawali (42), Seema (25), Israfi (10), Kalu (13) and Sonu (12).

The two families of Munna Mawali and Munna Mian were sharing a house in Amer. Sahib Hussain, suspected to be behind the murders, was arrested from Amer village on Friday night, Mr. Choudhary said. Sahib Hussain is the younger brother of Seema. The husband of Seema, Munna Mian, was not at home when the incident took place. — PTI
