Power shutdown in many areas today

Bangalore: There will be no power supply on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., as Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL) authorities will be taking up emergency maintenance work at Khoday's Glass Factory MUSS. The affected areas include Avalahalli, Anjanapura, Amruthnagar, Royal County Layout, Royal Park, Nandi Apartment, Anjanapura BDA Layout, Talaghattapura, Vajrahalli, Ganagarapalya, Tataguni, Agara, Banjarapalya, Bank Officers' Layout, Corporation Layout, Balaji Layout, Konankunte, Srinidhi Layout, Chunchaghatta, Adhinagar, Ayappanagar, Sowdhamini Layout, Anjandri Layout, Kumarana College, Munireddy Layout, Doddakallasandra, Bank Officers' Housing Society, Thippasandra, New Bank Colony, Mysore Bank Colony, Pushpak Farm area, Ganapathipura, RBI Colony, Puttenahalli, BCMC Layout, Omshakti Layout, Navaratna Garden, Iswara Layout, Raghavendranagar, Wilson Garden Coorperative Society Layout, Jaraganahalli and surrounding areas.

There will be intermittent power supply on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Peenya, HMT Layout, Laggere, Kempe Gowda Layout, Vidhana Soudha Layout, MEI Layout and Dasarahalli, as KPTCL authorities plan to carry out quarterly maintenance works at the SRS Peenya sub-station, a press release said.
