HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway on Monday cancelled 22 trains following flooding of the tracks between Uppagundur and Ammanabrolu on the Vijayawada-Ongole section. Express trains cancelled were: 6044/43 Kakinada-Chennai-Kakinada Circar, 7487 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Tirumala, 2710/09 Secunderabad-Gudur- Secunderabad Simhapuri, 2763 Tirupati-Secunderabad Simhapuri, 2712 Chennai Central-Vijayawada Pinakini and 2078 Vijayawada-Chennai Jana Shatabdi. Passenger trains were: 478 Vijayawada-Bitragunta, 209 Tirupati-Machilipatnam, 427/428 Guntur-Dhone-Guntur, 419/420 Guntur-Macherla-Guntur, 416 Guntur-Tenali, 402/403 Tenali-Repalle-Tenali, 407/408 Tenali-Donakonda/Guntur, 151/152/153 Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Vijayawada, M163 Vijayawada-Ongole, M156/157 Tenali-Ongole-Tenali, M160 Ongole-Vijayawada and 442 Vijayawada-Ongole. Express services re-scheduled were: 2760 Hyderabad-Chennai Charminar (10 p.m.) and 2759 on return (8 p.m.). Express trains that were regulated at stations were: 2625 Thiruvananthapuram-New Delhi Kerala (at Nellore), 2864 Yeshwantpur-Howrah (at Ongole), 2655 Ahmedabad-Chennai Central Navjeevan (Vijayawada) and 2841 Howrah-Chennai Central Coromandel (Eluru). The authorities regulated Tirupati-Nizamabad Krishana Express (7405) from Kavali to run as Nizamabad-Tirupati (7406). Tirupati-Kakinada-Tirupati (272/274) passenger was regulated to operate between Tirupati and Ongole.
