Jockeys fined

MYSORE: The following jockeys were fined at the races held here recently.

Oct. 21:

In the Triveni Plate, Rajesh Babu, rider of Soul Music was fined Rs.1,000 for travelling wide till entering the straight for no apparent reason and Gnaneshwar (Smell Of Success) was fined Rs.1,000 for the excessive use of whip (1st infringement).

In the Planetarium Plate, R. Biramne (Ariba) was fined Rs.2,000 for causing interference to Diva Dancer (B. Prakash), Go Go Boy (Jagdish Shukla ) and Don'tforgetmaumann (Arun Rao) approaching 1,000 mts.

In the second division of Smt. Maliniraje Prasad Memorial Gold Trophy, B. Prakash (Elezibeth Arden) was fined Rs.1,000 for causing interference to The Music Lover (Mahendran) soon after jumping out. In the first division of the above race Md. Kareem (Tarragona) was fined Rs.3,000 for not making sufficient effort on his mount.

In the Usha Balram Gold Cup, M. Suresh (Accordance) was fined Rs.1,000 for causing interference to Epic (C. Alford) approaching 1,000 mts.

Oct.22:

In the R.M. Puttanna Memorial Gold Trophy (Div II), Vijay Kumar (Mister Trooper) was fined Rs.1,000 for tightening Special Event (S. Rajesh) approaching 450 mts.

In the D.H. Dasappa Memorial Cup, M. Reuben (Decifer) and P. Mani (Graceful Lady) were fined Rs.1,000 each for excessive use of whip (1st infringement) on their mounts.

In the D. Sivappa Memorial Gold Cup, Mahendran (All Natural) was fined Rs.1,000 for excessive use of whip (1st infringement).
