Foreign university interviews coming up

CHENNAI: The next few weeks will see students aspiring for an education getting busy as several foreign representatives will visit the city with admission offers for January 2007.

New Horizzons, a consultant in overseas education, would organise student interviews with international admission officers of renowned institutions from the UK, Ireland, Singapore and Canada.

Deborah Knight from Holborn College, London, will interview students on November 11 for courses such as MBA, MA International Business and Law of International Trade.

Tracy Powers from Dublin Business School, Ireland will conduct interviews on November 13 for MBA with specialisations in marketing, human resource and computing and information systems.

On December 1, Murali Nara of Singaporean PSB Academy, will hold interviews for MBA, MIT and several disciplines in engineering and business management courses for undergraduate students.

Students interested in postgraduate courses such as software engineering, wireless networking and bioinformatics can meet Kolan representing Synergy Business School, Canada on December 3.

Counselling

Edwise Chennai also offers counselling for students looking out for education in UK. Candidates can also meet the representatives of several universities on a visit to Chennai.

Sheffield Hallam University's representative will be here on Tuesday, and the representative of St. Patricks International College will hold interviews on Wednesday.

It is the turn of University of Manchester on Thursday and University of Exeter on Friday.

Dublin Business School and Heriot Watt University will meet students on Saturday.

University of the Arts, London will interview candidates on November 13, and University of Aberdeen on November 14.
