BANGALORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ministers on Friday unanimously decided to field the party's candidate for the byelection to the Legislative Assembly from Chamundeshwari constituency to be held on December 4. BJP State unit president D.V. Sadananda Gowda told presspersons that the meeting of senior ministers held here unanimously decided to field the candidate as the party stands a fair chance of winning the seat. Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, Mr. Sadananda Gowda and most of the BJP ministers attended the meeting held at the residence of Minister for Science and Technology Ramachandra Gowda. The party sources told that they were eliciting the opinion of the ministers and leaders on the candidate. Mr. Sadananda Gowda will visit Mysore and ascertain the view of the party workers in this regard.
