Pulse Polio drive today

Bangalore: With a view to check the spread of polio in high-risk places, a special National Polio Immunisation Programme will be conducted on November 12 in 11 districts of the State. The Pulse Polio programme will be held in Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary, Koppal, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Haveri, Gadag, Davangere and Chitradurga districts. In all, 12,599 immunisation booths have been set up, Health and Family Welfare Commissioner Basavaraju has said in a press release. Booths have also been set up at railway stations, bus stations and public places for those who are travelling.
