Singareni management blamed

HYDERABAD: The Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) has said that the accident which took the lives of four coalminers in Kothagudem once again brought to fore the "callous" attitude of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) towards mine safety.

In a press release, IFTU general secretary Pradeep said that the accident was the result of "unhindered privatisation" in coalfields in the State.
