HYDERABAD: Security has been tightened at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Begumpet after intelligence agencies in the US alerted the authorities in India about a serious threat to security at major airports. The warning came from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which fears an attack or hijacking on US-bound flights taking off from Indian metros. "We are taking precautionary measures to prevent any attack," an official of the Begumpet airport said on Sunday.
