MUMBAI: Asif Khan Bashir Khan alias Junaid, alleged key conspirator in the July 11 Mumbai train blasts, and Mohammad Ali, at whose house the improved explosive devices were assembled, were booked on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the Malegaon blasts as well. The Anti-Terrorist Squad produced Junaid and Mohammad Ali in a special MCOCA court, which remanded them to police custody till November 24. Police sources said both were booked in the Malegaon blasts case. Thirty-one persons, mostly Muslim worshippers, were killed at Malegaon in Nashik district on September 8. Junaid, an activist of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India, was arrested in Belgaum, Karnataka on October 3 and has been in custody since then.
