Keep no-trust motion in abeyance: court

Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Friday ordered that the no-confidence motion to be moved on Saturday against the vice-chairman of Palakkad municipality S.R. Balasubramanyan be kept in abeyance. The Bench issued the interim order on appeals filed by chairperson V. Devayani and the vice-chairman against the Single Judge's verdict rejecting their writs against the no-confidence motion. The hearing on the appeals was adjourned to November 20.

Muringoor raid

Justice R. Basant directed the officers who were investigating the allegations against the Muringoor Divine Retreat Centre not to disclose the investigation details to the press.

Anticipatory bail

Justice V. Ramkumar on Friday granted anticipatory bail to S. Bose, the suspended Under Secretary at the Law Department, in the case relating to sexual harassment of an employee of the Secretariat.
