HYDERABAD: R. Lakshman, senior administrative manager of the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board was arrested on Friday after he allegedly accepted Rs. 50,000 from a person for not booking a false case on an industry in Moulali, the Anti-Corruption Bureau said. In another case, Basavaraju Subba Rao, an official of the Ground Water Depatment was arrested after he allegedly took Rs 10,000 as bribe. Both are being produced before the court.
