Tunnel freezer inaugurated

KOCHI: The second tunnel freezer at the ice and freezing plant run by the Kerala State Cooperative Federation for Fisheries Development Ltd. (Matsyafed) was inaugurated here on Monday by Minister for Fisheries S. Sarma. Mattancherry MLA V.K. Ebrahim Kunju presided.

The Minister also launched the new diesel bunker opened by Matsyafed.

He announced that the diesel sold at the Matsyafed bunker would cost 50 paise less per litre. The Minister earlier inaugurated a new fresh fish outlet, Matsyafed Fresh Fish Point, operating from the premises of the net factory behind the High Court of Kerala.
