Help the public, lawyers told

KARAIKAL: Lawyers play a vital role in the judiciary and they should help the litigant public in disposing of their cases quickly, P.D. Dinakaran, Judge of the Madras High Court and Portfolio Justice for Puducherry, said here on Sunday.

He was addressing the 57th Law Day celebrations organised by the Bar Association, Karaikal. The judge distributed prizes to winners of the Legal Literacy Day competitions. M. Nandan, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Karaikal, Sudhir Kumar, Karaikal Collector, Sindhu Pillai, Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal, M. Chinnapandi, Chief Judge, Puducherry, spoke.
