The NCDC introduced the ICDP for a period of five years for the development of infrastructure in the cooperative bodies in the district in July 2002.

Jayaram, presided over the meeting, when new projects were finalised and sanction was accorded for the release of funds to the tune of Rs. 80 lakh to 17 primary agricultural cooperative banks (PACBs) for the provision of loans to 500 members of the women self-help groups to procure milch animals.
