Developer conference from today

Bangalore: Electronic equipment sales in India is expected to grow to $363 billion by 2015 and the market for semiconductors in the country reach $36 billion by that year. A less spoken about market is that for analog devices with a compounded annual growth rate of 27.4 per cent.

Texas Instruments, whose analog products account for 40 per cent of its semiconductor revenue, is holding its ninth Developer Conference here on November 30 and December 1 to provide a platform for collaboration across a wide range of technologies. It will be held at NIMHANS Convention Centre.

"The semiconductor scene in India has reached a stage of maturity where design engineers have a major role for the world and domestic markets. The developer conference will help rapid transformation of ideas and innovation into read-to-use systems and solutions," Texas Instruments India managing director Biswadip Mitra has said.

Demonstration

The event will include demonstration of new applications across emerging high growth industries ranging from industrial applications, communications, digital entertainment, medical electronics and automotives.

It will showcase the strengths of customers and partners such as Ittiam and Sasken who will unveil new applications for analog and digital products.
