Free education for children
Supported by America-based Target Sourcing Services, Nehru Bal Samiti will conduct pre-nursery, nursery and kindergarten classes for the children at Bal Vikas Vidyalaya for a period of one year. Admissions to the classes will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
Delhi institute selected for project
The two-year project will include academic and cultural exchange, staff and students' exchange programmes to develop the job sector in both countries.
New branch of library opened
Mr. Sharma said the new branch of the library had been opened for the benefit of people living in the Capital's trans-Yamuna areas. "The main building of this library in Old Delhi was constructed in 1916 and later the maintenance of this library was handed over to the Delhi Municipal Committee. Thereafter, other branches of this library were opened in various parts of the city," he added.

Prof. Kumar read out his paper on "Dynamics of Information from the Village to the Research Laboratory" intended for those interested in reducing the "digital divide" between the rural and urban populations and the illiterates and academicians.
