Governor opens new hospital building

CHENNAI: G.R. Hospital, a multi-speciality hospital, was inaugurated by Governor Surjit Singh Barnala at Adambakkam on Thursday. The 20-bedded hospital has specialist consultants catering to all strata of people.

The hospital has an intensive care unit, an operation theatre and a full-fledged lab in the basement. Ambulance facility is available on call at the hospital. The hospital plans to start a trauma care unit in the coming months. Hospital Director Radhika Bhaskar, a general physician, welcomed the Governor. After inaugurating the new building, Mr. Barnala spent a few minutes enquiring about the facilities available at the hospital.
