Chain snatched

TIRUCHI: A 10-sovereign gold chain was allegedly snatched from a woman by a motorcyclist at Central bus stand in the early hours of Tuesday, police sources said.

Examinations postponed

The Centre for Distance Education, Bharathidasan University, has announced that practical examinations for students of second year MCA at Tiruchi, Pudukottai and Karur centres has been postponed to January 4 and 5, 2007.
