Five arrested on charge of assaulting court officer

BANGALORE: The Talaghattapura police on Wednesday arrested five persons in connection with the assault on the presiding officer of a Fast Track Court in Bangalore and his relatives when they had gone to perform the Bhoomi puja of a land they had purchased in BCC Layout at Vajrahalli near Talaghattapura some time ago.

The police said they were on the look out for several other persons who were allegedly involved in the assault.
