Homage paid to Anton Balasingham

Puducherry: Volunteers of the Dalit Panthers of India (DPI) here paid silent homage to Anton Balasingham, ideologue and political adviser of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), who died recently, by lighting candles at the Municipal bus terminal in Orleanpet here on Monday.

A release from the party said that Mr. E. Thalayari, its propaganda secretary, led the team of volunteers and office-bearers.
