College girls reach out to ailing children

HYDERABAD: The Villa Marie Junior College for Girls has joined hands with the Save a Child's Heart Foundation (SACH) to extend help to children suffering from congenital heart disorders.

Students of the college are contributing by buying SACH armbands and also by making the cause part of their annual fest, `C'est La Vie - N'Joy', which will be held on December 20 at Hotel Sitara in Ramoji Film City.

The college, according to a press release, has invited fashion designer Upasna Kamineni to host a fashion show that will have the girls of Villa Marie walking the ramp. Skits, dances and a Christmas play will also spice up the night. The college's `Radio Villa' will have a special programme called `Myriad X'pressions' that will facilitate callers from different walks of life to tune into songs and dance programmes to be performed by the students.
